B Corp™ certified companies are companies that meet verified standards of social and environmental practices, transparency and accountability.
It was important for us to obtain B Corp certification because of its rigorous assessment process and its international recognition.
What is B Corp?
Founded in 2006, B Corp is an international certification that recognizes companies meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, governance and transparency.
At On The Wild Side, this certification reflects our commitment to building social and environmental responsibility into every decision we make. It rests on concrete commitments across five key areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers.
How do you obtain B Corp certification?
Obtaining B Corp certification is a demanding process, led by the independent organization B Lab.
The company must demonstrate that it meets high standards in each of the five impact areas defined by B Lab. Its practices are assessed through a verification process that includes a document review and discussions with the B Lab teams.
Once certified, the company commits to continuous improvement. Its certification is reassessed regularly to ensure it keeps its commitments and continues to progress in social and environmental impact.
Reinventing tomorrow's beauty together
Certified B Corp since January 2024, On The Wild Side achieved a B Impact score of 82.0 (80 points are required for certification, while the median for ordinary businesses is 50.9). This score is mainly based on two criteria of the BIA (B Impact Assessment): Governance and Environment.
Governance - Protected Mission, which demonstrates On The Wild Side's overall commitment to the environment and transparency, with responsible manufacturing and production methods.
Environment - Toxin Reduction/Remediation, which highlights On The Wild Side's contribution to reducing toxins and pollution, with cosmetic products that are 100% natural in origin.
Obtaining this certification strengthens our mission: to have a positive impact every day by reinventing the way cosmetic products are designed and consumed.

Our climate commitment
As a B Corp, Cosmos Organic and Vegan Society certified SME, we publicly commit to contributing to the global ambition of limiting global warming to 1.5°C, in line with the Paris Agreement. Here is our roadmap for 2026–2028.
Our roadmap
From 2026
- All our new tube-packaged products contain at least 50% post-consumer recycled plastic.
- We limit unnecessary packaging whenever this does not compromise product protection or the customer experience.
- Every year, we run initiatives to prevent product waste, in partnership with recovery and upcycling organisations.
By the end of 2027
- We are researching and developing a refillable solution for our conditioner.
- We are continuing to transition our historical packaging (glass, aluminium) to recycled materials.
By the end of 2028
- We will reduce the average weight of our packaging by 20% compared to 2025.
- We will offer at least 3 products in a refillable format.
- No saleable product is destroyed: we prioritise donations and responsible clearance sales.
- We are committed to measuring and reducing the carbon footprint of our shipping, alongside carrier partners who are themselves committed to decarbonisation.
Governance
This plan is approved and signed by Anne-Sophie Nardy, Founder and President of On The Wild Side. It is monitored annually and fully reviewed at least every 36 months, with the next review scheduled before June 2029.
