The benefits of rosehip
ROSEHIP, THE SUPERSTAR PLANT
Fatigue, dullness, imperfections? We have the remedy you need.
Rosehip is a wild plant packed with vitamin C with incredible antioxidant properties.
In jam, herbal tea or as a food supplement, it can be used in 1000 ways.
MULTIPLE VIRTUES
Rosehip is, above all, an excellent source of vitamin C. It also provides B vitamins, beta-carotene, other antioxidants (rutin), and minerals. It's an essential plant in autumn to combat colds, pharyngitis, and prevent respiratory illnesses.
Containing anti-inflammatories, it is also recommended for arthritis problems.
HOW TO USE IT IN COOKING?
Rosehip tea
A fall essential. Arrange four fruits per cup and simmer for five minutes. If you haven't removed the cores from the fruits, you'll need to strain this herbal tea through a paper filter to remove the hairs. To balance its slightly tangy flavor, we recommend pairing it with thyme. A real treat!
Rosehip Jam
A shot of vitamins. Prepare 1.5 kg of rosehips: wash the fruit, cut off the small fly (black part), then cut the fruit in half. Remove the seeds and stinging hairs. Place the fruit in a saucepan and add water to the top. Bring to a boil for 20 minutes. Return them to the pan, from which you previously drained the water. Add 500 grams of sugar and the juice of one lemon. Stir. Let it cook for 20 minutes over low heat.
